FAQ – Zenventures’ Expeditions & Films

  • 1. What is Zenventures?

Zenventures is a Swiss film production company dedicated to creating cinematic expeditions that merge extreme adventure with sustainability.
Our films document pioneering journeys, world records, and environmental transformations.

  • 2. What kind of projects do you produce?

We focus on large-scale expeditions that explore the frontiers of human endurance and ecological change. Projects include Chasing the Jet Stream, Chasing the Peak, Chasing Free Mobility, Chasing the Lake, Chasing the Flow, and Chasing the Stratosphere.

  • 3. What makes Zenventures films unique?

Each project and film is both a human adventure and a time document of environmental change. We film in raw, extreme conditions, capturing authentic stories that inspire audiences and resonate with global broadcasters and partners.

  • 4. How do you collaborate with partners and sponsors?

We co-create visibility packages that include film integration, branded content, and communication rights. Our goal is to deliver measurable impact and long-term value for partners who share our vision of adventure and sustainability. Our past expeditions have been primarily funded through the private resources of our expedition leaders, ensuring our full independence from corporations and startups in the energy sector.

  • 5. Have your expeditions set any world records?

Yes. Several of our projects have been linked to world record attempts—such as flying the jet stream, climbing up a volcano on an electric truck, and, most recently, solar-powered mobility across Africa. This adventure has not yet been officially recognised as a world record, as the validation process is still ongoing. These records add a unique dimension to our storytelling.

  • 6. Where can I watch Zenventures films?

Our films are presented in collaboration with broadcasters such as BBC World News, Apple TV+, and selected teasers and trailers are available on our website. For upcoming projects, we share exclusive previews with partners and commissioning editors.

  • 7. Can Zenventures be engaged for independent project ideas?

Yes—this is possible when the record attempt is directly connected to clean energy and aligns with our mission. Equally important is a strong and constructive personal collaboration with the expedition team.

  • 8. How long does it take to complete and release a film?

The process takes considerable time, as filming is only the first stage. Post-production is complex, time-intensive, and costly—on average, we calculate about one year of development as the minimum.

  • 9. Does Zenventures have more projects in the pipeline?

Yes, new ideas are constantly in motion. We are already developing projects for 2027 and 2028—so the journey continues, and there is much more to come. Stay tuned.
